Rising COVID cases majorly due to extensive testing, will ‘plateau’ after 10-15 days: Delhi health minister

According to a report revealed in PTI, Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain asserted that there was “no want to panic‘ and the current situation is far better when compared to June. The city had witnessed a massive increase in coronavirus cases in the month of June, clocking in around 2000-3000 fresh cases daily, while the situation improved a bit in the month of July (1000-2000 cases). After witnessing a month-long downward trend in July, it was being widely speculated that the national capital had hit the ‘peak’ and will proceed to observe fewer coronavirus cases. However, the celebration was short-lived as cases started to rise as soon as once more within the final week of August.
