Pakistan PM defends decision to change domestic cricket structure

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday defended his decision to change the domestic cricket structure within the nation, insisting that after preliminary teething issues the brand new system will produce world class expertise.

Addressing officers of the Pakistan Cricket Board, the Pakistan Television Corporation and data ministry officers, Imran stated that Pakistan cricket had solely carried out effectively due to its immense uncooked expertise regardless of a poor cricket system.

“I have convinced with great difficulty Misbah, Hafeez and Azhar (who were among the attendees) that the new cricket structure must be allowed to grow and become strong,” stated Imran, the 1992 World Cup-winning captain.

Head coach and chief selector, Misbah-ul-Haq and senior gamers, Hafeez and Azhar met with the Prime Minister on Wednesday in Islamabad together with PCB Chairman, Ehsan Mani and CEO Wasim Khan to talk about the domestic cricket system.
